| Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Lonoke County Safe Haven.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age and will be screened for objectivity, competence and commitment. Each volunteer must have a criminal background check, a child abuse central registry screening, and a 10-hour (6-hour classroom and 4-hour supervised) training program. We request the volunteer to pay the $10.00 cost for the background check. After six months of service with Lonoke County Safe Haven, you may request the $10.00 to be refunded back to you. Each volunteer should be willing to commit to at least one year of service and continued education training throughout their assignment.
